The Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan had an official visit to Syunik province

On 10 April the Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan had an official visit to Syunik province. During the visit reception of citizens from Karashen, Kornidzor and Tegh communities was organized. The Defender examined the issues raised by the citizens and will start discussion procedures on some of the complaints within the mandate of the Defender.

During the visit Arman Tatoyan also met with the representatives of local NGOs, which operate in Goris city. The agreements on cooperation and collaboration directions were reached with the NGOs. The meeting with Goris city mayor Vachagan Adunts was held as well.

The Human Rights Defender participated in the event at the local secondary school in Tegh community initiated by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Poland to the Republic of Armenia Jerzy Marek Nowakowski. The Polish Ombudsman for Children Marek Michalak, who is in Armenia by the invitation of Arman Tatoyan, also attended the event. At end of the event the representatives of the Human Rights Defender and Polish Delegation gave presents to the school pupils.
